Have a look behind it, disconnect (your car probably won't start) but you can see if it draws less current

Curiousity finally got the better of me and I finally checked the current draw. It "spiked" to .98 when 1st connected then shimmied its way (.98,.70,.89,.65,.81,59, etc) down to a steady .38 - .45.

Going off what Jason said should be round .15 - .20, but we all know B4's are "special".

just wondering if anyone her has checked theirs or knows what theirs is pulling?

Cheers :drinks:

OK I fugged up.

I should have said around 0.015-0.020 amps.
Got the decimal in the wrong spot. :dash2:
Sorry.

0.45A is about what one 5w park light will draw. (0.41667A to be precise!!!)

Buzz, you made me curious too. :P
I checked mine.

The RX pulls between 0.008-0.012A pulsing with the security light.
The Commonwhore pulls a steady 0.011A as the security light is an LED.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

We'll forgive you... this time :sarcastic:

So (correct me if I'm wrong) the B4 is using 40X (approx) more power.... no wonder it's goin flat in a qwuick hurry!!

Good to know... think I'll leave it...

Feel free to disconnect yours and let me know if it still works when you reconnect it!

Either way, it's too much.
