From "Mister Two" over on RSLC. "the 318mm 2 pots actually have the same size caliper cylinders as the 277mm 2 pots. So you wont need an upgrade" So it seems that an upgrade to the master cylinder will be unnecessary. If im not working Saturday, ill be picking up the brakes then. :D

Mark, I can't remember if you pm'd me here or there, but to answer your question... I can't see where it is indicated about brake master cylinder markings. All is see on mine is "L21" and that's it...

Mine has 1 1/16" stamped on the side of the cast aluminium? Ive been informed that that is the larger of the early bmc's and will do the job nicely.

According to my research, that's the size the brembo equipped STi's run. I have ABS.... Win. :) Now for a BMC stopper :P

What BMC stoppers can the TTs run? Isn't the solenoid box in the way?

Bit late on the topic, but meh!

With Brembo's my BMC is fine, as I have the larger ABS unit install.

I also now have a Cusco Strut brace with BMC stoppped see:
