I love my Panosonic Lumix camera's :D
My first lumix was awesome, Had 25mm wide angle Leica lens, was great for a little point-n-shoot and i highly recomend them :)

But it was in my old car when it was stolen :(

That's not bad.

The only advice I would offer for a shot like that is to take the shot from further away and zoom in. When shots are taken (especially of cars) too close, you tend to get a bulbous look in the front of the image, which distorts the proportions of the car.

I agree, I'm a big fan of walking a couple of steps back and zooming in ;)

Hrmm how far back do you think. I remember I was about 6M from the car for that shot.

Will where'd the skyline go? That pic was awesome.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

! I was dead set it was like 6M back with the tripod on the floor. ... At 2m I couldn't get a shot of the whole car. Anyhow i'll try some of the things suggested and post the results.

That certainly doesn't look like you were 6m away!

I'd say go as far back as is reasonably possible and zoom right in.

Steps back and zoomed in.

Some shots of my bike my mate took with a 5D mk2. Flashes with umbrellas etc, last photo is out of focus on the left for some reason though.

I guess the next time he wants to do a photoshoot, hopefully next time with a tripod and better receivers for his flash triggers (not reliable).

Here's one last photo that turned out good, they look so sick in full resolution (10mb or so)

Nice pics from all. What's the go with the exhaust on the R6? Never seen anything like it before.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Oh it's just a slip on pipe really (Jardine GP-1), no muffler but it's not that loud surprisingly. It looks okay and was cheap as so thought I'd get one till I can afford a full titanium system. They drop around 5-6kg off the weight of the bike, sounds like nothing but it all adds up.
