Hahaha, yeh Gen2 grill removal was a massive PITA, but once you did it once, it was okay.

What do you think of this grill? Looks okay I think...

Looking good Morgan :) now ya just need that sti strut brace on and you wont believe how much faster itll be lol

the only reason theyre blue silicone joins was because it was a super cheap auto special and the black joiners they had were rubber not silicone?

thats interesting never seen that before. got to be aftermarket!!

Thats exactly what i said Shane! Its off a jdm rs30 halfcut from Kris one of Al's mates who imports parts in qld,and appears to be stockish? But no one has ever seen one before lol

either way its grown on me and i like it ;)

First engine mod :)

I know it hasn't been long but have you noticed much of a difference? How much did it cost you, if you don't mind me asking ?

I have noticed the difference :)
Well maybe its all in my head because im expecting something but it feels much more responsive down low.
Revs seem to get higher, faster now and we all know the heavy son of a bitch needs as much help as it can get!

Matt gave it to me for an incredible price along with an STI strut brace - $50 for the lot!!!
Thanks again Matt! Will hopefully be installing the brace this w/e

Sweet as!!

So I take it any BE/BH strut brace will fit an Outback. I was wondering if it was the same for our cars. I guess this answers my question :)

Yea they're the same car just with a raise...and a slightly different front bar as ive found out with the grille install!
The brace doesnt fit with his new engine but it will fit the humble 2.5 ...hopefully the H6 too! :)

Yeah im sure itd fit a H6? it tucks up close to the firewall and was made to fit a stock B4,
but hits my TMIC on one tiny part of the brace :(

oh well? im thinking a Cusco one with a brake stopper now,as the bay looks empty in that section lol....even though its 1000x fuller than its ever been......
just gotta get some measurements to make sure it clears the intercooler

I've got one of those - it's actually a genuine Jap Accessory grille, I can tell by the part number stamped into the back of it.

No worries, whenever, Soccer semi's this weekend so it won't be fitting/changing it for a while.

Are you slowly trying to copy my car? 1st wheels, then grille, what's next STi seats and dash?
Although I am copying you on the Brembo's... Mine will be black thou.

Mine? Nup, mine's still white over silver.
The top one is a GX/RX with Outback bars and flares on it.
Bottom one is a H6 - soon to be turbo'd

Mine's similar looking to this;
http://www.subaruout...n-one-kind.html
Except, I haven't got;
turbo power (yet),
no mudflaps (why?),
the weird JDM garnish and lights
carbon bonnet

Mine is lower thou.
