i would say thats of a sedan morgan tip is to far in
Yea it is off a sedan. Its Matt's (Sti_Lib) old one before the conversion.
It started to melt the rear bar lol had to cut around it :S
Does it matter to have it sitting back there?

Have you had a chance to test it on the freeway and see how it is at 110?

For pure sound, I think thats a great result! Really got me thinking about mine...
Have you had a chance to test it on the freeway and see how it is at 110?
Yea Im on the F3 everyday and you can barely hear it at all.
Wired up the butterfly flange last night but the remote is in need of a new battery so it doesnt work to its full potential yet
Sounds OK Morgs. Is that with factory headers?
Fix the tip.
Yea factory headers. Need new tyres before anything else but UEL borla replica headers are in the back of my mind for future awesomeness

What should I do about the tip? Any suggestions?
The exhaust cut out is actually melting away...
Can they just cut off the old tip and weld a new, longer one on?

If you want to keep that tip im pretty sure they can cut it off and extend it... Its only a bit of pipe

It would be messy though... There'd be 2 welds
If it was me, i'd be asking them to cut the tip off at the muffler, and re-welding on a longer tip. Then you only have 1 weld.
Cheers,
Shazza
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

He's able to take off the brackets and put them in a different spot for a 20.
Tomorrow morning is the earliest he can do it and Im heading to Syd in the arvo so that works well.
Around town it doesnt get hot enough to do any damage but it will melt away to nothing on the freeway.
He doesnt carry anything that big to just cut and reweld so this the the only (and IMO, best) option.

I have them on mine with a std centre pipe and an oval muffler.borla replica headers are in the back of my mind for future
Sounds like a fooking WRX.
Back to the drawing board for me.
As suggested, cut it off and extend. What should I do about the tip?

Rex's sound pretty good to me.
I know we've only just seen some pics of your car (from the track day) but any chance of a sound clip?
