Well ive been wanting a new car for a while now, only recently decided to put some effort into getting one. I started out wanting a gen3 RX liberty, but then went for an impreza for its bucket seats momo wheel, etc, IMO the impreza was more 'sporty' then the liberty.

Found one on carsales with 65,000kms! and just fitted my price range, after a phone call to the dealership we settled on a price and a deposit was left, i told the sales guy the car better be exactly as described or im not going through with the sale. he assured me it would be fine. (the car was at bathurst toyota, a 4hour drive from me, or 7 hours of public transport)

Ended up catching two trains a bus and a taxi to get this car, but it well worth it!

This car has just impressed me more and more. Its soooo much nicer then my wagon to drive!

I have few little things in mind, floor mats, tail lights, slightly louder exhuast, tint. I'd like to do a track day or to at wakefield or something, just so i can have some fun in the car without the risk of being caught.

Gave it a clean today and polish, Heres some pictures.

Looks good Mark. Needs more better wheels though :P. I do like the interiors on the Imprezas though. Are you gonna convert the wagon or something and keep this as a neat daily or some other plan?

Cheers Ash, eh rims and lowering is tempting, but i dunno, the cars comfortable as it is and i dont want to loose that.

I'll be joining upto rexnet soon, does that mod make the headlights look like this?

Looks great mate! Great colour too. IMO it would look tops with some 02WRX 17" rims and a touch lower. 65,000kms. Faark, thats like 8000kms a year!!!!

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Marky mark mark, what an upgrade! Look forward to seeing what you do with it. I agree, keep things subtle and it'll be a winner on a practical day-to-day basis.

Hmmm I wasn't real keen on Wrx wheels, but I dunno, how much were you after for them? I'd be keen on your extractors though?

Yeah but I'm a first year and have to do the 6 months training. They just put us onsite for a few months, cause I dunno why. Only got two months left though, it's just a low level scaffolding ticket thingy
