Nah, im really interested in this Morgsy, make sure you take a vid of it running so we can see it all.

That looks pretty cool Morgs, add another one for interest in this once it's installed.

It seems a few of you were interested to see how this el-cheapo headunit turned out, as was I!

Was sick today so had the day off and by 11am I couldnt sleep any longer. What should anyone do on their day off? Play with the car
Pulled out the head unit I bought a week ago. Its known to be the 'ebay brand' so I was sceptical at first but it was cheap so I took a punt.
$210 to my door (prices may vary depending on exchange rate). Arrived within 3 working days, sweet.

A few issues have arised; the stock Subaru radio connector is a double pin? Ive never seen this before in the ~10 headunits ive installed. The Eonon is obviously a single pin input so I currently have no radio. Ill be on the lookout for an adaptor.
Also, the ipod control seems to struggle. If i start scrolling through my artists weird symbols replace band names and when I open a folder, it says there is nothing in there? I have simply switched modes on the HU and controlled my ipod from the ipod. No biggy.

Looks like after the bugs are worked out it will be pretty good morgs. one thing about the vid... it sounds exactly like me on video!!! TRIPPY AS! even my bro just thought i was playing a video of myself then he was like WTF why are you white lol

Got it straight from the Eonon website.
There might be other models that come with the GPS standard? Havent really looked into it as I already have a Navman.
Ive noted that alot of the FAQs are people wanting to know if TomTom/Navman/Garmin software can be downloaded onto the unit - makes me think their GPS software is crap?

Now the question is, Should i get the single din one, and run the audio through the Mcintosh quality unit through my Aux input, or get the big unit. (apparently replacing the Mcintosh is a bit tricky with the amp set-up etc.)
