For the price you paid, you've gotten a decent product. Good call on forgoing the GPS option; your Navman is infinitely better than whatever this eBay brand has to offer in terms of maps. You'll find a lot of these lower end head units struggle for ease of use with iPods. But just having that connectivity is a massive bonus obviously. Bad habit of mine - my iPod practically lives in my car...

I don't even do that Fish!

I add more music to my iPod telepathically.

Haha i take mine in and out of the car with me but it is always playing in my car! After alot of fiddling, i do prefer to control the ipod through the ipod rather than the HU anyway. Always having to start from 'A' sucks...especially with 379 artists to get through. Ive discovered there are buttons on the touch screen in the remote ipod screen which also control the ipod itself which is handy (and subtle for cops sitting next to me) :)

I don't have an iPod. I have a cassette and AM radio (I prefer the term 'wireless')! Rockon. :D

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Hey Morgs, First off thanks for the video and info about these units. I just ordered one as my current HU is giving me problems. Did you get the radio working on yours? I remember when they (JB hifi) installed my Clarion Double Din HU I had to purchase and extra adapter for about $10-20 to get the radio work. I cant remember what it was called but maybe if you give JB a quick chat they will know what you need? Jono

You have the Pioneer version of this don't you? How's that?

That would be ideal, but is 10 times the price.

I usd to have a pioneer. I now gave an eclipse which is about 10x the price but it is standard oem in Lexus

I brought a 30 cm extension and just plugged it to the factory antanna lead then to the deck using just one of the original plugs

You could also buy a dual diversity antenna adaptor; http://www.aerpro.co...ntenna&cat_sno= You end up using only one of the plugs.

Took the unit back out of the car last weekend as it was more faulty than San Fran. Courier picked it up 2 mins ago and will hopefully get some money back. They keep saying they want to repair it and send it back or send me a new unit if they cant fix it. I keep telling them i dont want their junk but they dont understand. I will be buying a real one soon!

Lol at this thread.

If you are reading this wondering if you should buy one, DON'T!

Save up a little more and get a real unit!

I installed the Pioneer AVH-P3350BT on the weekend and there is no comparison. The build quality, functionality, clarity and general look of the thing is 1000000000000x better!!!
