30mm won't attract too much attention and $280 seems like a decent price...
But King's don't have the best rep
How old are the springs? How many kms have they travelled?
I'm not a susp guru but to get best results, you may need to get different struts too otherwise the standard ones might sag...

Ive got kings on mine. Wouldn't say they're noisy but the ride is pretty harse. $280 seems about right.

As for coppers, doesn't attract a second glance. gives a good ride height but nothing extreme to get any attention.

They are brand new so no kms which is good.
I was thinking KYB's struts??
Would they fit up with the springs and how would they ride together??

in her PT

...as in PT cruiser? :o

I have Kings in my B4, they are fine.

A lot of people don't like them, but other than being a bit stiff (which you would expect from lowered springs) there's nothing really wrong with them.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Yep PT Cruiser. It looks nice - blue, big chrome wheels (that do actually suit it very well), lowered slightly, but god it's an aweful car to drive.

This sentence has never (and should never) appear anywhere on the internet ever.

Please don't tell me it's one of those convertible/cabriolet versions?

Back on topic: Kings will be fine. I wouldn't suggest going for super-lows unless you own a VS/VL commodore.

No not the cabriolet. It is the GT model before they revised the headlights and tailights so it does actually look quite good externally. The interior is a different story.

Kings are okay if your on a budget and get the right struts as well. If you don't they seem to be rubbish in most Subaru's for some reason.

I have kings on my GTB and yes they are stiff, noisy and harsh but my car is generally loud, harsh and I like to go around corners flat so they work. Its no Lexus. Softer springs may be nicer but I like the ride height from them. They are Marks (Cruisn) old springs mated to Bilsteins.
