Ive heard the harsh ride is due to the King Spring/Bilstein combo... I have King Lows in my lib mated up with Boge shocks and the ride isnt to bumpy...

What do you think of KYB's??
Any good??
And does anyone have any pics of a car with these springs fitted?? Or links to any sites with pics
Thanks :)

I had them on KYB struts and it failed hardcore. Ride quality was shit. King super lows will drop it down onto the wheels, you'll have about 5cm cap between the front wheel and the guard. Back is about the same.

I got them on my Bilstien and yes the ride is Uber hard, but i dont know what people are talking about being loud? like robt, my car is loud, its hard and its not as comfy as the work commo over speedbumps but thats what i want in my car, i like hitting the twistys and out cornering everyone else.

if your the kind of person to hit speed bumps at any speed that registers on the speedo.. they are probably not right for you :P

The short wheel base of the lib makes them a little rough when you lower them.
Got a lowered commo, and rides great.

Thanks for that mate, I too have been looking at getting some King Spring Lows for my Liberty but I was just wondering if it was a worthy investment or would the money be better off spent elsewhere

They're fine so long as you invest in the appropriate shock absorbers at the same time!

I'm not to sure what the spring rates are for the Lib's mate.
I know Monroe and Kings worked together to make kits for Commodores and the results were amazing, can have a car sitting 65mm lower then standard and the ride quality is the same if not better then standard. Perhaps look into it and see if they've done the same thing for Liberties.
