Why not just bolt in the correct shifter assembly to suit the shifter? Linkages will all be the same shit!

Ive tried searching for it already, looked at the BL Liberty and various WRX and didnt match...

The shifter part no matches my car so how else am I too find the correct shifter assembly... I'll just get it machined down or sell the thing...

Paint your wheels. Rollin' on wheels in primer (Mt Druitt Metallic) isn't cricket.

I know! The colour that I orginally chose for Mark to get powdercoated turned out lighter and flatter than expected. Im in the process of getting the right colour now!

How I change ball joints;
Loosen wheel nuts.
Jack up and support front end of car.
Take off wheels.
Take out the bolt that goes through the knuckle that holds the ball joint in.
Take a big arse piece of steel bar/pry bar (like 1.5m long and effing thick) and put that above the control arm (close to the ball joint, but not touching it) and under the chassis of the car (up under the firewall, its reinforced and you won't hurt it nor the control arm*).
Pull down really, really hard and the ball joint will pop out.
Undo the castle nut.
Ball joint out.

Use a rubber mallet/dead blow hammer to knock the ball joint back into the knuckle when re-installing.

* I've done it this way on my car 6 times and my wife's car car once and nothing has ever gone wrong, I've also got alloy control arms and there's not even a mark on them. It also leaves the ball joint in one piece and doesn't tear the boot either (good for when your doing clutches/CV's/ gearboxes etc).

You need to get 6x T4 wedge LED globes for the air con lights... I got mine from EBAY Store

You have to pull out your air con module then open it up by unscrewing it from the back. You will see where they are suppose to go. If you dont know much about LEDs they only have a one way polarity so if they dont work one way when u put them in spin it around 180 degree and it should work

As for the Dash lights in all red I tried this and didnt look to good, way too much red going on and was in your face. I opted for some 180 degree T10 wedge white LEDs and it puts out a nice light teal colour... The picture doesnt do it justice. From memory i think you only need 4 but more if urs is auto...

Ok so the air con lights, is it easy to open it all up without messing it up? And do yog reckon white face dials would be a better option? Cheers, Sam

Yeh its easy if ur mechanically minded, its pretty much common sense... Dont even bother with the white face dials will look like poo plus its very difficult to take the dials out without damaging them... Just change the globes to white LEDs to get rid of that green colour

Nothing... A mate in the US is offering the Enkies to me....

Maybe I should just get off my ass and get the CS9s powdercoated...

Tein rebuild vs Rim powercoating??? which first?

I know your not thrilled with the colour of your CS9's, but honestly it'd worth fixing that up the way you want it because theres little out there that would look better IMO.

BTW mate, would you mind re-telling me how you did those LED footwell lights you showed me last week? They work with the dimmer, yes? What'd you wire it up to?

Dude.

Ignore the naysayers.

I'll take the Enkei's if you don't want 'em.

Seriously.

So much better than CS9's.
