I installed some T10 and T5 LED SMD globes into my dash today.
Note no hot spots. They coulda been a bit brighter, but for $10 delivered from HK for 20 globes, who cares, right? Took about 30mins to install, following THM999's DIY guide.

Cheers,
Shazza

Heyyy shazzy was this an ebay vender or where'd you get em from? :)
Want to get my hands on some asap.. going red i think.

Make sure u get either SMD or wide angle LEDs... I usually get 4 SMD per T10 to spread the lighting

Ahh. So is it possible to splice each of the 4 SMDs into the T10 socket/wiring and kinda mount them in the imidiate vicinity of where the T10 was?

Gentlemen,

It is with great sadness that I am announcing that the rig has now been sold. New owner is collecting tomorrow afternoon.

Alot of effort and money has gone into this build, and it was such a learning experience. The new owner (Who has asked me not to name him yet) is a SubyClub member, and I am pleased that it is going to a fellow enthusiast that assures me that the build will continue, and that the absolutle highest level of care will be taken.

Alot of you will already know who the new owner is, but I will leave it for him to reveal on his own accord.

I just wanted to say a massive thanks to all the guys that have helped me throughout this conversion, and none of this would have been possible without the information and guidance of you guys. I will most certainly not be going anywhere, anytime soon, even though my new car is not a Subaru. I will be chucking a build thread up here regardless.

Stay classy gentlemen.

Cheers,
Shazza
