Maybe on a single turbo mate!

Have you heard a full atmo on a TT???

It goes off loudly at about 2000 revs, bloody annoying just quietly.

you fail at adjusting a BOV.. mine never went off until I hit atleast 15+psi boost.. anything below that was flutter-ville.. population ME and my SMILE!

flutter > everything.

I’ve got a Greddy Type RS on the liberty that I reckon sounds pretty good (ej20t). Full atmo. Full qwoosh and full flutter ftw

The stock BOV on my legacy sounds pretty good with the Blitz pod filter as well. Subtle but cats still know what time it is

The GFB's are made specifically for the B4, so they fit. It's physically bigger than the stock one but it does fit with no modification and no adapter needed.

I got mine from HERE although it looks like GFB have discontinued/replaced (and upped the price) on the model I got.

I can dig up the part number if you're really interested, should be able to find one on ebay or something.

So that one doesnt need anything extra to connect onto a 01 b4. Looks like it would....

I've got a Hyperflow top mount IC which is larger than the stock top mount and it still fits with no modification, as I said a few posts up.

Cheers...

If you've got the time would you mind if i could see your setup as a reference.

Planning on getting a hyperflow tmic with the bov at the same time then tune it.

Ive got a turbosmart bov and it has an adapter to suit the B4/Legacy. Personally, Im not a huge fan of my turbosmart, its a bit to much woooosh and not sharp enough. I dont hear my bov unless im over 3K, under that I get the softest flutter. It really does sound like a pigeon flying over head :) More mods will get you mode sound.

I can sell you my old one for $100 if you want. I bought it for about 160, but I no longer have the TT motor in the B4. So its somewhat useless, and the stocker on the new motor sounds the goods as standard in my mind. So its there if you want it. I had mine set to 50/50, and it was loud enough to me. 100% atmo would be annoying I reckon.
Send me an email

minus the spaces of course.

Cheers,
Ben

Edit - its a GFB Hybrid to suit the standard B4 I/C too...

MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.
