Only way I think is to revert back to Internet Exp.5 but then u lose the chat on the side panel. I read that in one of the "I hate new facebook" style groups.

There is always a way around these things!
In order to get your old facebook back, do the following.
1. make sure you are logged out of facebook.
2. Go to http://apps.new.face...?fb95_opt_out=1
(this should take you to the old facebook login screen.)
3. make a new bookmark after you have logged in.
This works a treat for me, but I have had reports that it only momentarily works for some. If you find it doesn't work, let me know and I will provide more details.

Bare with me through this instruction... I just tried firefox and it worked.
Firstly, make sure that you have an application installed called "Developer". You can find it through this link:
http://www.facebook....p?id=2345053339
Click, Go to application and add it.
Once this is done, go to http://apps.new.face...fbnew_opt_out=1
Then close down all facebook windows and then try opening facebook again through the original link I provided
http://apps.new.face...?fb95_opt_out=1
From there, you should be able to bookmark facebook and log in as normal into the old setup.
Let me know how you go.
