Oh, I'll get it, although..should I if the engine is coming out and being replaced in the next few months? May as well feel a bit safer for $44 though.
Need a new clutch

Jesse, depends mate. You are getting clutch done at a shop? Just ask them to sus it out. They will be able to tell straight away if the rear main is shagged / leaking. If it's not, you'll be right. If your replacement engine is a dreamy 3 months (like my bloody engine swap) and ends up taking 12 months or something you might be better off getting it replaced now, just for that piece of mind

Nah, I will be doing the clutch with Ty and his mate. I'll get the rear main just in case..it's only $44.
The engine is hopefully only a few months away but that's depending on so many things. For me a V3 sti engine is pretty much a straight swap with only 3 wires needing to be changed according to AM Auto.

Well it would be up to Ty to take pics, I don't have a camera.
But I'll see what we can do.

any reason why your swapping motors?
isnt the rsb engine identical to a v3 sti except for the twin vs single turbo a few vac lines and the ecu
easier to swap complete motors i surpose

Well, I talked to Al and Miles at AM Auto, and they said the swap could be done very easily, however alot of the time the bottom end gives out not too much later. The price you can get the V3 engines now means I may as well anyway.

Yeah that's what I though fair enough sounds like you've got it all sorted
And you'll have spares too
Should be good once done, still jealous of your car, saw it back in the making and it was done to perfection
