I'm still kind of on the fence about getting one... reason is I don't drive to very interesting places enough... still worth it for the occasional subyclub cruises?

I use mine for more than just driving.

Just to note. Am hour long video of just following people on a cruise is that boring even you won't want to watch it ;) the fun part is editing :)

Ha... good point... well I don't do very much interesting stuff for me to use the camera I guess... but maybe if I can find a cheap-ish one like Sam, could be good... I might find a use for it somehow...

Do I what I did. Grab yourself a cheap HD Hero2, learn on it and see how much you'll end up using it before you can justify the $$$ on a Hero3 Black or something.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

I'm seriously considering heading that way too stocky... Might be the best option for me.

Ive got a hero HD does the full HD video, lcd bac pac, spare genuine go pro battery, wifi pac and remote i'd probably sell, but keep the suction mount for myself.

It obviously has some wear and could use a lens replacement kit ($37posted for 2 on ebay)

Ebay prices are:
LCD bac pac- $100
Wifi pac+remote- $140
Go pro battery- $50
Currently theres one 2nd hand naked hero HD starting at $110

Whats a fair price to ask? Or anyone willing to pay?

who wants to buy a GP2? i got one that's only been used probably 10 times at the most. 16GB memory card. Comes with all the original mounts (i didn't use any of them) and the suction cup.

Still avail? And how much?

Damn, missed that you wrote that Aek. I'm keen to know about the price as well which will depend on whether I buy it or not. What model HERO 2 is it?

Ha ha, nah man. First come, first served. I'm curious on the price too as I've not got a lot of splurge money at the moment.
