What's with the case?
I never received one of those, only a cardboard box..

It's a reel case with pre perforated foam from BCF good for keeping all the stuff together, especially if you're like me and lose bits and pieces.

I walked in yesterday... Was about to buy a 3+ Black Edition for $380 but walked out.

I'm tempted to walk back in today but I need to convince myself I'll use it more than once!

I'll admit, I haven't used my GoPro for a while and forgot to grab it for the weekend (wasn't in my regular camera bag) but when I do use it, I love it!

Yeah I can use it for my gigs and at the gym for my clients too. I always give myself good reasons to buy shit though... My Subie is a great example of impulsive buying.

Another thing you could try for fun is making some DIY mounts for it, to get more use out of the gropro, like first person mounts, or swivel mounts or something, just check out what people have done with their gopros to get some ideas

I got the Hero 3 silver, 2yrs ago from Aek (XMAS pressy from the mrs) have always used it... Snorkeling, Snow, car cruises, go karts, even the sister in laws wedding...

 

Despite not being the best you can get its good enough for what I need it for...  The 3+ Silver could be a better option for you and just use ur phone instead of the remote

Sounds good. Everyone is going on about some ultra wide view though that's only on the 3+. I don't know if it's a big deal though. Besides that, is the remote the only difference between the 3+ silver and 3+ Black?
