Isnt the antenna on gen3 wagons on the rear window? Underneath the top brake light? Thatd be a bit difficult I'd imagine.

Not sure.

Even it it was, it would still need to be wired back to the receiver.
You could coil the extra antenna wire around the OEM one.

This will also increase the range.

Wouldn't it be easier just to walk closer to the car? Te more range, the more chance o accidentally unlocking it without even knowing.

i dont even see the point of extending the range... 10m is plenty!
