I have done what Allpaw has done... I also have been too lazy to fill the gaps.

I believe Brendan (XXB4XX) was the original architect for this mounting method, though he had things made up to put around the gauges which made it look much more complete.

ya.. it was me.. I went to a interior guy and had custom foam inserts made and covered in blek vinyl to fill in the gaps between the 3 gauges..

Also, on the previous page there the pic of the digital boost gauge in the Gen IV GT, that is a home made custom job by a guy called Tangcla" on Liberty.asn, it's for sale at the moment too.. it only reads Bar and not PSI, useless to me.

Incorrect, It displays in both metric and imperial...

Directly from the liberty.asn thread

Was he able to convert to metric yet Clarence?

Displays in both metric and imperial, user-configurable setting.
The manual is here.

I'm with Brendan on this one.

Clever. But.... tacky.

There's nothing like looking at an analogue gauge.... and visualising the sweep of the needle for the ramp up of boost.

A digital gauge won't do this, no matter how many LEDs or displays you have.

Much easier to diagnose faults like boost leaks, broken boost controllers, etc.

ATM: having the eboost street displaying boost via a digital readout vs my apexi gauge (in PSI, Brendan ;) )... The digital gauge is a random lotto number generator as far as I'm concerned.

Lol Alex, I'm still an old skool fan of a gauge having a needle!

As for tacky, it's tackier than being digital, it is home made and you can tell that it's home made..

As for a GEN IV richo, name the right price, I know of one you can have :)

Peace

I don't like the "lose an air-vent" mounting personally. Looks good but I wouldn't want to give up my precious vents.

I was just reminded of this ^ wen i saw this:

How cool is it to upload your own gauge skins?
