Removing the OEM BOV return hose was a pain, fitting and plumbing the new hose was a pain, lining the cooler up with the mounting brackets was pain, getting the bov to reach the cooler was a pita.
After wrestling with the thing for ages it all hooked up and it's perfect fit. Snug but perfect.

I drove out of the drive way for a test spin and as i went up the street it was whoa how did a new cooler and bov make the car go so much faster?? i look over at the boost gauge and it was just about at 2 bar (normally running stock boost)!
Oops..
When replacing the broken hose i ended up snapping the tee piece and two other hoses so ended up replacing all of them.

All done. Happy days

Xeon (WA rslc guy) was running in his 2.5ltr (original one which he sold) and the wastegate hose popped off. 5 mins doing hellies in mud bouncing up to 2bar. That motor is now in Mister Twos' car and makes 340hp

Where did you get the y-pipe to suit?
Looks awesome! Re-tune time?

honestly couldn't believe how much a hassle it was Scott. Worth it in the end but for such a basic job it really made things it difficult..
Cam the Y-Pipe actually came with the TMIC kit. It cooler was also modified by Godspeed to fit the OEM mounting brackets which did make things a little bit easier too. I just gotta put on the new turbo (VF34) and change the fuel pump (which i'll do this weekend) she's ready for a tune. I downloaded RomRaider the other week and Chris got a Tactrix so we'll have a crack and see how we go.

What Y pipe are you using? The one I bought (for a GD Impreza) is too short and doesn't reach the turbo!

Top mounts used to make my knuckles bleed.
Land rovers now make my knuckles bleed. Along with my wallet.

Gonna be a weapon.
I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;
"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

Finally changed my OEM TMIC to a 4" KLS intercooler and Turbosmart Kompact BOV. What a FUCKEN pain in the dick, nothing fit easily without a lot of persuasion.
Removing the OEM BOV return hose was a pain, fitting and plumbing the new hose was a pain, lining the cooler up with the mounting brackets was pain, getting the bov to reach the cooler was a pita.

Pain in the arse arent they! Did u have ur strut brace on when putting it on? With it off gives u a little more room to play...
Suprised u went with the OEM lines attached to the TMIC...
With mine previous owner got rubber lines put in when he did the upgrade to make it easier...

Also next chance you get, put some rubber/foam on the a/c line where it just comes out of the firewall... Mine eventually rubbed through from the TMIC
