Haha, for some reason this is the hardest I have laughed all day. Awesome and hilarious at the same time to see a B4 tearing it up like that.

I meant bad RWD burnout in general...not just in a BE.

THIS is how you do a burnout.

There you are comparing a Car worked and modded to the **** house to a stock Be (almost)....

This is true. A stock 5ltr holden V8 wont to much beter then the BE in the OP.
Im still stunned as to why you would buy an AWD and then convert it to RWD when it would have been easier to just buy one to begin with...

I'm curious, how do you drift an AWD? Obviously I've tried to do skids in my boring old RX, but I can't materialise any kind of rubber burn. I'm guessing the key is a lot of power.

Have a go in a wet (empty) car park and do some donuts.

For anyone curious about how to convert AWD to RWD, the is a piece that you can buy to put in you centre diff.

Now to be ontopic. I don't understand where the value is in converting a Subaru to be RWD. Where does that make any sense?
All you're doing is reducing the contact patch on the road with which to apply torque. You can't fit decent rubber on them either so why?

Just seems to be a purely for doing skids. Which you could buy a car that can do the same job as standard.

Well in this case, it was to be able to make the car drift. Other than that, there isnt really any reason. Its fun to be different.

My vid beats your picture.

In most cases it's usually just a power conversion, like a 30-70.
Mate got his Rex done 40-60 by MRT, plus a retune, just so he can skid a bit. Not too exxy, and it impresses people more than seeing a Skyline or SS do skids.

Hi,

A couple of the WA Forester guys have that dial thing-a-mebob that they can adjust pretty much on the fly to send more power to the rears. GT Forester hanging the arse out is pretty damn cool.

Cheers,
Nik

Well you can get skids on a skidpan or wet grass easily, but yes most of the time power is key, or converting to a 40-60, 35-65 or 30-70 power distribution works well.

Look up team orange on facetube, youbook, whatever the fcuk you kids boogle each other on.

Is it expensive doing a power conversion and or worth it? 30/70 sounds attractive.
