Bought the car stock almost a year ago and have constantly added things over time. The 05 GT is a 2.0 twin-scroll turbo with equal tuned headers so still sourcing a decent S/S TBE quad tip exhaust that doesn't drone.

Car's always kept clean and protected but finally got around and did a 13 hour detail a few months ago and turned out well:

Car looks awesome Hamish.

You keeping the calipers red? I'd be blacking them bad boys to match the black theme of the car.

Love it regardless!

Looks great mate!

you wanna head over here and give my baby a 13hour detail :P

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Had thought of that but the pics make them look alot lighter red in photo's they are actually not as in your face as quite dark in person.

Needs a bit of contrast until Brembo's.

The paint was in pretty average condition just like every black car that isn't washed properly. There were swirls and scratches everywhere. Fly me over and pay me and i'll do it haha

Cheers,

Thinking of dropping the front coilovers another 10mm or so but don't want to risk smashing my lip anytime soon.

Here are some of the detail pictures not from not too long ago:

Paint was in pretty average condition as expected on most dark colours and the previous owner didn't really wash it properly resulting in some scratches and swirls marks etc. The paint came up good besides a couple of bird **** stains that would have been left on too long by previous owner and etched through. Enjoy:

Think I should have repainted to calipers black whilst i was there...

Attacked with some 3in1 Cleaner and degreaser:

Wheels Washed, decontaminated and then wheel sealant applied:

Next day car foamed and then washed with two bucket method:

Paint decontaminated with clay bar:

Headlights had small patches of hazing/oxidising and a couple of scratches so buffed out and then sealed to prevent from happening for good:

Then the paint correction begins:

what did you use to get rid of those scratches and buff the car with!!!! mine is riddled with those scratches, it's like he used jiff and a scourer on some parts.. polish and wax fixed it, but not that good.

I Used a polisher with a combination of orange, white and black Lake contry pads. Menzerna 85RD and 203S Polishes and then used 3 coats of Zaino Z5 paint sealant with ZFX curing agent.

Btw i do detailing a fair bit and eventually want to open up a business soon :drinks:

If you were in sydney i would definatly make it worth your while with a bag of oranges to clean my car like that.

My colour (Urban Grey Metallic) hides that stuff pretty well, but i know its there.

Your s1 looks phenominal, well done Hamish.
