Hey guys..

Just wondering if anyone has fitted rota grid 18 inch rim in 9 or 9.5 inch wide with the +38 offset to a 04 Wrx.
In car currently I have coil overs . And will be getting guards rolled soon.
Are these wheels gonna fit under my guards with out to many issues or has anyone fitted these and wat was required to make these fit???
Any advice is much appreciated

Thnx

Mate I do know one of the guys on here had 18x8 with +15* offset on a MY02, so similar arches. We also had 18"s on an MY05 ages ago, bit unsure of offset and width, might've been 8.5.

With the guards rolled 9in should be right, 9.5 might be pushing it. If your coilovers are dialed correctly you shouldn't scrub, i've dumped a few cars on oversize rims, you'll be amazed at what'll fit in wheel arches.

*pretty sure it was +15

If thy tint is dark and thy wheels are black thou car be declared b11tchin'

So you can run it on 6psi with an rx fuel pump? :P

Thanks mate.

How would I know if they will work with the 38 offset? I preferably want to 9,s for the aggressive look but dnt want to damage guard etc
Is ther a way to work out wat if the order is good to clear Coil overs and guards.. I'm happy to run neg camber in the rear if I have to as I got coil overs with adjustable tops front and rear for this reason

Cheers bud

I've heard +35 offset fitting, but with narrower width....it really is a dangerous game unless you can trial fit them, or are you buying them new?

Less width with a lower offset, to give you more lip will keep it aggressive.

Here's the rims I was talking about.

Yer I'm buying brand new.
I'm hoping the supplier may let me trial fit but who really knows thanks for ur help bud
Also I read through the thread of those rims forsakes and it's they a +51 offset does that mean closer to guard or closer to strut...

Can't get Grids in 9", only 8.5" and 9.5".
Can get G Forces in 9" with a +35 offset.

8.5" Grids have a +48 offset - no idea if they will clear the stock strut's or not, plus they aren't concave i.e they have a flat face.
9.5" Grids have a +38 offset and will either sit flush with the guards or sit out past the guards - they will clear stock struts, but you'll look Mexiflush if the car's not lowered, these are concave.

Depends what size tyres, suspension and camber you run, but the tyres will rub in the back - if you go low, you'll need to roll and maybe pull the rears and roll the fronts.
