Why are they all so pointy?
Yours isn't???
I keed.
But seriously, I'm guessing it's because they can't guide it in. They just have to aim and fire....

Refer to Nik's picture above.
Srsly, I hate exxy restaurants that charge you $35 for a plate that big WITH 2 BITS OF FOOD ON IT.
Sure it's tasty, but a man's gotta eat!
Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

What's everyone's opinion on 'less is more' when it comes to food?

I like a full plate. However, those restaurants always seem to fill you up...
Was at a Thai/Japanese place last weekend and the serving sizes were tiny but we ended up not being able to finish it all!

If it's really good food over a few courses it feels you up because you tend to eat slower.
When me and racheal eat out* we don't talk while eating. Eating is srs business.
I like our relationship.
*I have already made the joke in my head.

Mine uses a Z495
What are you packing?
Z495 too! Kewl!
I think most of them do mate.
There's probably a couple of odd ball ones like the really old ones.
But I think most "modern" Subaru's are the same.
Churrs!
I'm pretty sure all 2.0L oil filters are exactly the same for Subaru regardless of if its a turbo or not. ///edit - oh wait, isn't an XT a 2.5?
Yeah, was sure with the 2.0T and EJ22 as ive had both of them, but was unsure of the 2.5 Might just have to get under and have a look/look at an online cattledog.
Thanks Guys!

I want to eat. But, if I'm dropping a buck a head on food alone, I want to try out the entire repertoire of the coveted chef/chefs in the kitchen. Trying 5/6 smaller dishes will give me a much more rounded meal, encompassing a lot of different techniques that the chef has to offer. There is absolutely no point in going to a 3 hatted restaurant and 'playing it safe' with a steak.
No point.
That plate of slow braised short ribs with papardelle and dark chocolate was part of a five courser. I'd like another soup spoon worth of meat sauce, personally.

Not really what I was angling at but, I completely agree. I don't mind the odd splash out at a nice restaurant but usually I just go home hungry and with an empty wallet.

This also.

I prefer a decent sized serving (doesn't need to be huge), I don't care how good the food is, if it is a piss tiny meal it ruins the experience.

I (don't laugh) don't drink much when we go to these joints, because that's how a $200 bill becomes four.
Also, discount because I'm sexy doesn't hurt.

Lukosh, I remember you being satisfied after the meal at El Bulli, which was essentially a whole bunch of little meals. Actually, I think we were defeated at the end!?

If there are several dishes are you mention than this is the exception..I don't think there is a problem with it, when I post my meals at spenno spots they are always 5+ courses.
