Roof racks

A mate who works at autobarn can get my rhino aero racks, and the holder for around $360 so that's not too bad. But the aero bars are pretty fugly, and the sports style isn't available for 02-07 impreza's.
Found these online:

Not sure what postage cost and time would be though.
Anyone got other suggestions?
Mark

I just tie mine on cos I'm a tightass! Kills fuel econy though, without boards on roof I got about 9L/100. With racks and boards it was more like 11.5L/100km!!!

i got same fuel economy as mixed urban/open driving after return trip to snow. around 10-11. big difference when you have 5 air brakes on your roof
that was a very interesting drive trust me !!!!

Should probably ask to how does the car go at 110km with them on the roof?

Meh. Don't really have a choice. Still 11L isn't that bad

stupid fast still. putting foot down in 5th sees the needle rapidly moving to the right hand side of the dial 110kph is around 3000rpm in my car, which in 5th gear and that much engine load is the sweet spot for take off mode
i didn't feel any hesitation in performance, on your RS i'm not too sure, depends how much you load the car up with gear (weight being the issue there).
my worst fuel economy is only ever around the 12.5 mark, which is still fairly good for mainly city driving.

roof racks come in handy anyway, and between bug eye and pignose their inter changeable, so that'll be right for a few cars in the future for me

i can fold my centre rear seat down and get a board in, but i have to fit another board in and my sister in the back seat.

bindings off makes it 10x easier through the ski-port also.
