Best bet would be to source one from a wreckers. I'm going to one this weekend as I need to pickup a couple of items....can have a look for yaAnd does anyone know where i can get the arch re done?

These types of outings should be regulars as well I reckon, there are plenty of Outbacks and Foz's in the club who might like to do this sort of thing, plus it's great driver training, just need a 4WD or 2 for recovery just in case.
I'm sure Alex said he could lead something like that, yeh ??

yeah for sure, i mean it was all suby club members as well so why not extend the invitation as there seems to be lots of potential interest from guys who weren't invited. either way good effort, it looks like you guys had a lot of fun

Little known tracks like the ones we drove should not be posted publicly so as to prevent weekend warriors from going down there and tearing up the road. I take pride in respecting private properties and I actually pulled over to explain to the guys that we were about to drive through common land, and hence should respect it.
Unfortunately that doesn't always happen which is why tracks get closed down or fenced off by councils/national parks/state forests etc. It ruins it for everyone. So forgive me if I give off the wrong impression, but there's a reason behind it.
