Even a WRC car 'only' runs around 300bhp. What are you planning on doing with 300kw exactly?

well 300BHP is 402.3kw ?[EDIT] - 304kw atw witch i have seen done recently but engien did die after 27000km's due to a bottom end bearing failure
now sure it was 304kw at the wheels thou would have to call my mate so dont hold me to the figure as yet

1 HP = 0.7457 KW / 1KW = 1.341 BHP

ive decided to go for 250kw and then try push for more later

id be happy to reach 250kw as a starting point

will be used for up hill/ down hill tarmac time trials/and queensland raceway track days when its finished

and when i get my opens back will be used for the average club cruise as well
will be siting in my shed for the 5 other days of the week

300hp = 223kw.

BHP =

BHP is not the same as HP

HP is horsepower

BHP is Brake Horse Power

HP is general term for Horse power. While BHP stands for brake HP. BHP takes into account the efficiency of transmission which is never 100%. Brake means if you apply a brake to stop the machine how much energy is needed; that is in simple terms. BHP is measured using a dynamometer at the driven shaft.

Yes, but 300hp is very, very close to 300bhp.

400kW does not equal 300hp, 300bhp or 300ps.

im completely wrong

shit my bad sorry just seen where i went wrong lol

was usieng the wrong conversion

here sthe correct 1

http://www.custom-ca...onversions.aspx

Power
brake horsepower (bhp) × 745.7 = Watts (kW) × 0.0013 = brake horsepower (bhp)
brake horsepower (bhp) × 0.746 = Kilowatts (W)) × 1.341 = brake horsepower (bhp)

so its 223.8kw

so i appologize

so im mor ethen happy to spend 25k to 35k on her

dont see whats wrong with wanting to do that if its your passion

[Edit]
