That's true. Only a select few are allowed that special kind of aids.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Notice how they use the Outback and not a B4 in these tests because they are obviously more important.

Just so you can all stop worrying about my driveway, the GT was fixed at about 530 this afternoon.

Phew

Does ams B4 have the aids? I wouldn't rule all B4's out for aids. The twin system is nice for driving around town, I am not a fan of turbo lag myself and the B4 surprised me. Don't the turbo foresters not make that much power? I heard they have a baby single turbots... guess it depends on the model and year you are looking at.

Edit: After some quick research the 2.5 turbo XT seems to have enough power.

The GTs aren't huge. Late model SGs aren't too bad. Still need a wagon for boot space though

The B4 is aids-riddled. Still drives nice etc but after defending it for years, it is not a great idea. Forry is N/A...STi is, well, STi.

LOL

Some dude in WA got clocked at 247km/h in an SS commodore...wtf? Is that even possible?

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Yeah, even a V6 commodore should be able to do that with enough road lol. Torque and gear ratios etc. No problems for a V8.

My boss has been telling me all his stories from when he was younger, before cameras were everywhere. Brisbane to Melbourne in ~8hrs (apparently), in a worked WRX :P you do the math.

Yeah I'll be honest any turbo car freaks me out, and having 2 is kinda nuts. The Foresters are nice. I am just saving the pennies, I'd like to get an STi Lib if the funds hold up before I upgrade.

I fought against getting a rex because...well...i just didn't want the stereotype but honestly --- they're just better. Feels nicer to drive, nicer in corners, boost better, stops better (brembo's kick ass)......why fight it.

Also, haha....

What did your STi set you back again? I am still looking at 35-40k for a GenIV GT + STi, patiently waiting for depreciation to take its course. I could not bare to part with anymore than around $20k for a car personally. But yeah, I am thinking of going STi next time, just because I have a non-STi Subaru... and well.. they have all the sexy bits already standard - which suits my laziness.

Yes Tom, the safety of Outback owners is far more important than the safety of B4 drivers, which is why they only tested the safety of the Outback and not of the B4.

Its the valley between sanity and insanity. The initiation of the secondary turbo is the point where you start taking your life into your own hands.
