That BMW looks to have water misters, fine atomised water spray into the intake system to help keep air temp/combustion temps down a bit.
This is just a guess but it is what I would put my money on, doubtful that it would be a nitrous set up if it was like that.. not NOS as this is a brand not the gas

I just ordered a new O2 sensor for my car (***** is drinking fuel faster than Nik Brews/drinks beer)
Universal 4 wire .. "that will be $142RRP..." ..... Oh that is on the account...... "$55 in that case" hahaha I love trade.
