Seriously.

My mates aren't really car people and just shake their head whenever they see a new mod on the Outback ...or a new car in the driveway

It's funny though when they need a new car or something breaks. They come running to you

Apart from those 2 my old school mates aren't into cars, they prefer weed smokes and booze
I go to mini king to have a chat too alot. I hardly ever buy things, just look around the workshop and learn some old tricks/knowledge about cooper s's and how to spot fakes

Whenever they drive my cars they get out with a big smile on their faces, even though it's currently a slow boat...!

There's the car savvy like me.
Then there's the one's that aren't.
Then there's the car savvy ones who are savvier with their chequebooks.
Ugh.
They're the worst. They don't mod every month. They replace their cars every month.

Ive made some pretty solid mates through cars. Both from Detailing and forum/clubs. Having said that, my interest levels in cars have dropped over the last year or so. I think its the realisation that my income cant sustain my auto-desires, my family and my house.
Sig worthy.

He loves my car, and always wants to know what I have done with it, even if I just changed the oil or something lol. He has some crazy stories and absolutely loves Subaru's.
So yeah, cars can be a great conversation starter - I even talk cars non-stop with a couple of my mates.
There is just something about them, non-car people just don't understand!

The rex has good paint, it had a few swirls in it (you would have noticed anyway) but really good paint otherwise. Prob just needs some wax and a buff or something.

ah shit, I didnt bail you up and waffle on about detailing did I? Sorry dude. I dont remember. Although thats more likely because I was suffering from serious jetlag all weekend.
This year is going to be epic. Im hoping to get hold of a couple of minikegs from our brewery to bring down so we arent stuck drinking Nik's swill all weekend. On that note Nik, if i bring down a crash box and coupler do you have a gas bottle we can push through with? Save me having to bring down a bottle.
I will have my pluto gun with me , and my portable charger attachment which takes those little gas (co2) chargers init , 1 or 2 gas chargers per keg

is there a supply shop you can get them from over there ?

I still want a series 2 sedan.

Failing that, I'd got the series 1.
