I've been set the task of creating a Scotch Ale recipe while my boss is away next month. Personally I think a November release is too late in the year for a Scotch Ale. I'd rather we went for a big % Saison ( normal big, not Nik big btw). What do you beery nerds think about drinking Scotch Ale coming into an Australian summer? Too heavy?

Sig worthy.

Funny that you have been set the task of creating a brew, I have been tasked with drinking such brews! who would have thought it!.

I personally do not care what season it is, I will drink anything during any season...people who don't are fags :P

Why thanks for the compliment on the size of my manhood walts! props!

I am of the same opinion. The problem we have is more about space. Both in terms of available kegs and coolroom space. Having 9 or so kegs tied up for months and months is a bit of an issue. Unfortunately because we only sell our beer over the bar on our premesis, we are somewhat dictated by what the punters want to drink. Which sadly is lager.

If I haven't got kegs, I don't need the coolroom space. Not really a solution Axlex, but thanks for trying.

Hahaha I love MSY, one down the road from work here is dodgy as, place has not been vacuumed since it opened.. pretty much rocks and leaves and dirt and shit everywhere in front of the counters. Oh and no one really speaks any English that works there.

Haha, Brett is drunk on a Thursday afternoon. Love it.

Also, skillionairerules the seasons, make what you want to make.

Also, scotch ale will lose its purpose at a high grav.

Also, being dictated by the masses is the downfall of every grey sized business. Remind Mark where his balls are and proceed to cup them for him.

Same as the ones in SA. They used to be a massive warehouse with 3 Asian blokes who don't speak a word of English and you needed to ask them for what you wanted and they would go and get it.

The one in the city they have upgraded massively though, it's an actually store you can walk around and grab stuff though, and it's clean.

There's also a "token" Aussie guy that works there.

LOL Classic! yeah these asian blokes run off and find things for you. Not a big warehouse though this one.....

They have almost started to update their website kind of LOL

" Also, skillionairerules the seasons, make what you want to make. " glad you agree.
Drinking beer to a specific season is like changing your oil grades for a different season... should have have its own float in Mardi Gras
