we use Argoshield on the MIG but I don't think that you produce a good weld when using that with the TIG (from what my mate tells me)

Depends on the welding you are doing too, The common general use gas for MIG is Argoshield (forget what I said before, I am still trying to wake up :P) You can use Argon in Mig but it is not as common.

Haha you are confusing me mofo!

This is my attempt with mig

Pretty neat, but I really have to be careful with the heat I put into the panels.

From what I hear tig produces a "colder" weld, reducing warping on car panels.

So you are saying argoshield for MIG is no good for TIG?

Pretty much! LOL this is hearsay though and not personal experience, remembering I cannot TIG and have never tried LOL! I take my information in this case from my mate who is a boilermaker/engineer whatever his title is... but basically ***** can weld.

Yeah I hear you on being careful welding on car panels with a MIG, need to weld in the right sequence so your shiz doesn't get pulled out of alignment and not to much heat so that it warps.
