5spd, definitely appears to have been tuned, also suspicious of the secondary (haven't looked yet) - normal mods though, exhaust/gauges... I don't know much about Gen2's, but it has windy windows - this would indicate that it's not a real Legacy? Yes? It has Legacy rear garnish.

Hahahaha, I think I know who owns that Peppery car.

@AMS seriously how much you selling it for? I'm more than likely going to sell the Stagea to get something cheaper to run. RB's are cool, but fark they drink fuel. I also don't need a second wagon anymore and I've always loved the B4.

Sig worthy.

Windy windows. Not even an RX.

Must be a GX or LX conversion.

It goes pretty hard, as in I wouldn't want it to go much harder for my old man purposes, BUT.

Gearbox is sloppy as hell, I haven't had much experience with Subaru 5MT but there is the same amount of play in the gear stick as there is on my '91 Ford Courier 5MT.

?

Windy windows.

Both times after I gave it a bootfull, when I parked up there was smoke coming from the scoop - smelled like oil smoke, but I'm no expert, also the car hasn't been driven (hard or at all really) for apparently a very long time, but I don't really want to buy problems.

No stereo, as far as I can tell the speakers are the originals put back in after the 'sick system' has been removed.

Previous owner was a mechanic (alarm bells)

@Morgan: Unless you are writing a novel, I fail to understand what is taking you so long.

Probably passed out in the toilet. Straining out a Morgan.

Doesn't mean the gearbox is sloppy. Just might be the shifter.

My old car did that, felt like it was out of gear when it was actually in gear.

It just means the bushes in the shifter are warn. Easy fix.

Morgan just loves to be italic. ಠ_ಠ

One of the originals! Remember that first year? Riding around in that Gator thingy, getting smashed with Hamdog and rocking up to Goodfellas late. For me that was the best one so far. Looking forward to MDSC11 taking the mantle though.

Sig worthy.

I've noticed it's taken Brett an alarmingly long time to post as well.

Edge of your seat type shit right hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

@Tomohawk: Yeah it just feels like a sausage in a hallway. Clutch feels quite 'heavy' so not sure if it's been 'upgraded' - like I said, hard for me to really know, this is like the third manual Subaru I've ever driven.

Hahahaha, I don't think that same 'vibe' can ever be reproduced. That shit was the most insane weekend ever. Remember going to Cowaramup brewery, and I announced that I would be making Alisha my girl - and we were all so smashed we weren't realising how loud we were?

Haha. Golden gaytime. I remember rocking up to some party with Hamdog, and just telling everyone that they knew me so they should let us in - "You know me, I don't know you, but you know me"

Haha.

@Lukosh: Car will be attending MDSC.

Nik. For the kind of money you're talking about spending on another car, there are always going to be things to fix. Like I said the other day. The shifter in my Foz is sloppy in gear. But as mentioned it's more likely to be the bushes than a farked box. The smoke thing is a bit worrying, but couldn't that just be turbo seals? Even if you had to replace one or both snails, surely Lee could sort you out with some new(used) ones? Your windows are always down anyway, so windies shouldn't pose too much of a hassle for you.

Sig worthy.

Yes I remember how that little bet went down. Do you ever remind Redly how wrong he was? I think I would. Just every now and then.

TT wagon skids on rally track?

If it is coming out of the bonnet scoop than it could be oil dripping from something onto the dumps or block and heating up, unlikely to be the turbo seals, that would dump from the exhaust.
