Helmets for motorsport use

I'm pretty keen to buy an ALDI helmet this year for $69

I've used Grant more times then he has ha ha.
I wanna know if anyone has had any problems with these helmets at WSID or eastern creek? Or if someone can recommend a cheap helmet that I won't have problems with scrutineers.
I don't want to go overboard on a helmet. Aslong as it meets the safety standards I'm happy.
I don't want this to turn into a $10 helmet for a $10 head debate either.

I would buy one of those for sure. But i would vinyl wrap it with a sick design.
Cheers,

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

all in all thats not a cheap helmet, you could go to the extream and get one like my dad, full crabon cevlar sparco helmet with hans device, over 2k worth. but yer i only got mine when i was doing super sprints with my old car. money well spent.I dont wanna spend $600 on a helmet. For my use it's overkill. If I raced go karts or did more motorsport then I do I wouldn't hesitate to buy an expensive helmet.

i would personally suggest you spend your money one one that has the tag/numbers/sticker etc, that way you wont have any dramas. it souldnt be to hard find one for cheap. It's still more money then i want to spend. I just don't want to turn up to or EC and be turned away, then have to fork out for a new helmet
