Just went to Apple to try and score a new phone for free. The dude at the Genius Bar took one look at it, told me it was water damaged, and demanded $250 for a new one.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I don't know how true the stories actually are but I have heard a few old mechanics mention the VL chassis is so weak that jacking it up under the doors can cause enough flex to make it hard to open the doors lol.. As I said all un-verified by me though.


I'd believe it.

Some cars will flex so much on a two post hoist, the interior light turns on!




The B4 chassis is ridiculously stiff.
The specs say it's a fare bit stiffer than the RX.


How are they different?
I would have thought Subaru would just make the one shell.

This must mean my RX is as awsome as your B4, or your B4 is as awesome as my RX.


Mine feels pretty stiff.








I was at VicRoads today and they had a varity of custom plates on display.

One was TT, black plate with silver letters.
They even come in an aluminium case, B0$$ style.

Damn im tired! Got a full on weekend this weekend as far as doing shit goes. I like quiet weekends. Was actually looking forward to working on the mini. Don't think it will happen now!

Jase, the b4 chassis has extra stiffening shit over the other models. Can't remember what but they may have used some different materials in certain spots, If inremember I will scan the tech specs at work tomorrow where it mentions it.

I would have thought Subaru would just make the one shell.

Not sure how they did it mate but I remember reading it in the tech specs that it's a certain percentage more ridged than the RX. They also compare it to the 2001 M3 in the B4 tech specs saying that it's stiffer and quicker through the slalom or some bullshit.

Maybe extra spot welds?

The RX is by far the stiffest car I've ever owned.


Maybe I need to drive a B4?

Fark, so full. Just went and drank/ate my own weight at redoak.

It's odd being in the CBD this time of night, ahaha it's like twice as busy traffic and people wise now than perth CBD was all day! Lol.
