Apparently they're highly impractical and illegal. Electrical cords coiled up generate a lot of heat, and inside of your wall is a definite no no.DO WANT!
Try leaving your cord wound up inside your vacuum cleaner and using it. The cord doesn't actually get hot from the vacuum motor, it's actually the cord starting to melt.
