Clearance to strut would go down by about 6mm and extended would be about 20mm outward.

There's a calculator somewhere online if you want zactees.

http://www.1010tires...tcalculator.asp

5mm + 21mm

Can I have a medal?

Remember, we said 8.5" wide tyre.

Also LESS than +44 would be 43, 42, 41 etc. etc.

At +44 you're knocking down about 15mm of clearance, which as the Forester man in me will attest, is about as far as you'd want to push it.

+43 will be 14mm less, so on and so forth.

:D

I've been in a fair few US LHD's in the past year... It's really disconcerting being on the tree side of the car!

When you guys BBQ do you prefer Grill or hotplate?

I used to always cook everything on the hotplate, Now im pretty much the Oposite. Meat seems to cook/taste so much better on the Grill.

Looking to now Update my camping arsenal with an over the fire grill. I have one of these

Posted Image

But my hotplate is only a plate.

Going to make a bbq grill with an edging that uses the same mounting system. (a hole through a bit of steel)

/cool story.
