We had a guy come in a few months ago who did the same thing with a potato gun.

Needless to say, we were picking out bits of potato out of his frontal lobe. Lost an eye. And most of his upper face.

Twist mount is cool, no doubt. If you're wanting to go FMIC.

If it is a fake, it's a pretty good one. Looks damn real though.

RedSledAlex, for someone to actually do that with a potato gun, they probably deserve to lose an eye.
But how traumatic!!!

They had to come back to theatre at least twenty times over several weeks to get more and more picked out.

Alex, fill me in on the advantages of a twist mounted turbo.

I am going to sound extremely noobish here but Turbo's are not something I know much about at all TBH.

Morning all.

Leaving Mackay in about 30mins.

Stopping over in Brisbane or Hervey Bay I think. Depends on how far south we get today.

2000kms, here we come! Looking forward to driving the Lib though.
 


I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I do want to go FMIC but my original plan was to build a piping kit that would allow me to retain factory airbox, e.t.c possibly rotate compressor housing.

What are the benefits of the twist mount? Is it to fit a bigger turbo?

Maybe I should leave it considering I don't know my plans yet. Even though the AM Auto kit is a nice bit of gear!
