Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Just take the rego plates off your car and put them on the 22B, pretend it's a white wagon = WINNING.
If this could be registered, i might consider dipping into my savings to buy it.
Anyone shed some light?
They're not selling for that much anymore though.I would buy it, register it, and sell it for $100k, then use the money to invest in something else.
True story.
There's 2 nice ones on there for 79k that have been on there for ages.
A couple of years ago they were selling for 130k!!!
The owner of S&J in Adelaide has one with about 14,000k's. Gets trailered around to car shows and that's about it. DOOO WANNNT.

That chassis # will never be allowed on Aussie roads, which is why it's worth SFA.
Offer him $10k

Cannot be registered. It's a race-only import.

But how legal it would be is a different story.
Anybody know of any blue STI 2 doors that have had major damage that have VIN plates intact?

Just a 2 door STI would do.So you're after a crashed 22B so you can steal the VIN?
They wouldn't know the difference.

The 2.0 vs 2.2 engine might be a *slight* hurdle.
As would the increased track.

Not in Adelaide. The rego place would have no idea on the differences.

Seriously though, you'd have no hope of passing Regency.

"That don't look like no horse I ever saw"
Haha. Take it to them at night time walts, one of the perks of no electricity is they could only inspect it by moonlight.

I definitely wouldn't try it, that's for sure. You would've confused 'em from the outset. "That don't look like no horse I ever saw"
Seriously though, you'd have no hope of passing Regency.
But, let's say you owned a WRC Blue V6 STi 2 door.
Bought that 22B.
Put the plates and rego plates onto the V6 STi.
Drove it around.
The rego if the cops scanned it would just say "Blue Subaru Sedan".
and they would have no idea.
Unless you got defected etc. and have to go through Regency, obviously they would look up the numbers etc. and know.
But I'm sure you could drive it around for quite a while without anyone noticing.
