Well, after 12 mths of it sitting in the garage with a mega hole in the block I'm glad to say the B4 is alive and boostin again. It spent this week up at Noosaville with the champs at AM Auto. I was given the choice of a v7 or v8 package but after talking to Miles who recommended the v8 that's what I went for. It received an '04 v8 STi engine and loom with all new seals, plugs, timing belt, w/pump, new clutch and radiator. They also re-fab'd the exhaust so it sits up where it should of but never did.

I can't speak highly enough of the job Miles and Al do, it is 2nd to none (as most of you know). Everything works as perfectly as factory and it looks like it was meant to be there. Needless to say the drive home was awesome.

Love your work Buzzman.

I will be doing exactly the same when mine inevitably gets a hole in it. Because we do have twins and all, gotta keep 'em the same.

Sup Buzz!!

Good to see life in her again!

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Glad to hear you've got decent wheels again.

Nice one.

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. Yeah brakes are next on the to do list, will have to suffice with some slotted rotors for the time being untill the bank acc bounces back.

Can I ask how much it cost all up?

3 milk coffee and 2 gingernut biscuits ... worth every crumb.

what turbo are you running?

VF37. Seems like a pretty nice unit.

Gen4 GT brakes are a cheap but effective upgrade if you don't want to stretch to brembos. They are more than adequate on a gen2, not sure how the extra weight of a gen3 would drag them down though...

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Yup I'm running them on mine and they're much better than the stock H6/B4 brakes. Although if I was running something as powerful as an STi motor, I'd be keen for some Brembos. Can never have too much braking performance IMO.
