Morning all.

Got a wedding to goto tonight. Free piss.
 


I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I only remember interesting cars that I've driven. Getting a Toyota Corolla as the loaner car from the mechanic is not worth remembering.

Guys.

What's the fastest car you've been in? Not driven.

Mine would have to be a mates dads from school.
Built 750kw TT HSV, straight cut gearbox etc. spun its wheels in 6th.

Ahh fastest car. Probably the Diablo, but we didn't go fast in it, if you know what I mean. Just giving her some beans up to speed. 997 911T was a highlight.

The one that I'll probably always remember as the fastest in my mind, as I was quite young, was Dad's XJS. Would love one of these Lister versions;

Fastest car i've been in was mums old ex boyfriends VR Statesmen.

Had a Walkinshaw 427 motor with a 6/71 blower, running about 16psi.

Fastest 0-260 I've ever been.

They're quick, but most energy gets wasted in wheelspin. The Autostyle R32 was fun. WOT in 4th @ 100km/h = gutter to gutter across 3 lanes with all four 275mm semi-slicks lit up, pumping smoke. I think that thing wound up doing 9s.

Some cars feel a lot faster depending on the sound, how smooth the ride is, etc. etc. To me anyway. When I took out the XBGT I thought it was absolutely mauling the tarmac, but I was going about the same pace or slower than taking off in the H6.
