I like MCM, the S15 is a nice car. Let's be fair though, it only failed in the drag event. The Subaru should have been quicker around the track but it was all over the place handling wise. And at least the S15 was able to continue after a few launches LOL. Someone is gonna get a cool car.

I stumbled on this today. I'll let you figure out the rest or report the prick. PIRACY IS BAD ULEH.

Just out of interest, are pretty much all FMIC cores busted out of the same China-spec factory or are there some cores genuinely better built than others?

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

How hard can it be to manufacture a FMIC core?

I'm asking more specifically is it better to buy a good brand name core (like HKS, Blitz whatever) rather than some ebay spec core if they are made all from the same factory in China...?

I know, I was just giving my opinion. May be wrong though.

I think for street use a china spec FMIC will probably be ok (from memory of my research)

I need a disclaimer in my signature that states i dont know much

Not all cores are the same. Especially in 2.5s. Put up a thread in Technical not GT FFS

clutch could cost over $1800 but might not. If you were on the coast id offer to do a cashie

Jordan your clutch will be cheaper than mine to replace because you don't need to remove the dumps and mine was about 1400.

My mates WRX was ~$900 to replace the clutch, I think he went exedy. He shopped around for labor quotes, ended up at one of the better places in the area anyway.

Also just a general tech question, someone with knowledge of the pressure lines - I was inspecting mine in preparation of the boost gauge install whenever it arrives. I seem to already have a T section on the left line off the manifold (behind alternator) that I have been told to use - and the T seems to connect to some round plastic thing on the right, that mentions cruise control on a worn sticker. Why would a pressure line be going to the cruise control.. if thats what it is.
