Me: 'Hey Charger' *makes peace sign*
My dad taught me about that one as a kid. I do it now still if I see one!
I don't really remember any either.

What is the oldest car ad anyone can remember as a kid?
The earliest car I can remember was a dark blue VN S pack. Dad got it new through work but bought out the lease when he left the job not too long after. Had a red stripe around it and was the beginnings of my love for Holdens.
At the same time, my uncle had a white VN S and my grandpa had a brown Executive. Family holidays were fun in the VN convoy!

But the OLDEST car would probably be a VW dakka dakka. Which it looks like I also learn to drive in?

First moto lesson?

Hahaha this Charade was awesome. I remember it stalling down the street and mum had to run down and push it to get it started... Used to fill with water whenever it rained too.

Hmm best pic I could find of the VN...

VS Exec after we sold the VN with my uncles Falcon on the way to a holiday somewhere...

Good ol' times were good and ol'

You don't have family photos? I just flicked through a couple of albums and they're the only ones of cars... There were about 15 other cars in that period of time that there are no photos of

We're talking about car ads, Morgan. Thanks for the trip down boring lane, but those aren't the oldest car ADS that you remember.

It's not like these days, where you just rip it off of an SD card and money ain't a thang. Getting a roll of film developed was expensive as ****.
