Marv and I have some experience in these. And they haven't been great experiences, I'm afraid.

SVX was too much money.. I only really had $4500 to play around with.
It's a mix. I forgot what he said and I'm not so good on the technicals but it's a 323 bottom end and 325 head? I don't know engines but it's a mix between the 323 and 325 engine.

He's owned it for 10 years and has 2 other E30's. Only reason he's selling it is because his daughter needs an operation and needs the cash ASAP. He's a car detailer and the body is mint regardless.
I found no rust, no white or black smoke out of the exhaust, gear changes were smooth, no weird noises and everything looked great.. apart from the fact it doesn't have aircon, but thats what windows are for anyway.

My liberty is not reliable at the moment and I was just sick of driving it.. and it's auto. This E30 is a 5 speed manual so much more fun.


Time will tell, maybe I'll be lucky that I won't have any problems, or maybe shit will go sour and it's gonna cost me an arm and a leg to look after it.

Who knows, but the bloke wants to buy it back off me if I ever want to sell it hahahaha.. in time I guess.
