Shifter bush renewal is a prick of a job.

h.t.h

Was that the ones under the car? I just did the ones on the actual shifter, feels nicer, can't wait to do the rest.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

@Brett : Do you actually own a computer or just a phone?

Hello.

Nik how goes the cruise of champions thinking-of-where-its-going'ness....??

Hi Alex. I have a laptop. It's gay. I use my phone because I can do other shit at the same time.

Sig worthy.

So Alex, shifter bushes should be done before gearbag fitting?

That would be most ideal, Adam.

I think for the shifter bush change, I'll have to either enlist on the help of mechanical stig, or we may have a crack at the mech&tech day.

I like the mech day idea!

So keen to swing some spanners!!!

We tried to fit a gen 2 diff back on a foz today. Pipe shape fit, hangers and flanges were in the wrong position unfortunately!

Still fun!!!

Also re aligned my bumper to fit better. As well as the grill!

Looks nicer now!

Nice work.

Fitted my leather shifter boot back on.

Converted it from a five speed fit, to a six speed fit.

Looks good.

No photos yet.

Also did some mods to the GFB short shifter. Fits much much much better now!

Then Gen2's have a very narrow shifter area. Nothing some grinder/dremel and silicone loving couldn't fix :P

I still have the auto surround! Works good for now! And it's got a cool pop out card holder!

Will probably have to do something abou it when 6 speed comes ;)

Finally got around to installing my boost gauge today. Works good, matches the dash nicely.

And I am happy to report that the car boosts nicely :P peaked at about 15 when I was thrashing it. But hangs around 8-12 most of the time.

Omori Meter, from J-Spec Tuning, got it on eBay from them. Its 45mm, matches the dash close enough. So I am quite happy with it so far, all the bits it came with seem decent quality. It is electronic.

The kit came with everything needed, and a bonus resistor type thing that adjusts the max brightness to the Subaru dash (they refer to Gen4, close enough). The startup has a sweep on ignition, and when you hold the ignition it flashes red.

Gauge looks good!

I'm getting impatient waiting for mine... They had some faulty products and were waiting on their supplier. Told me it was posted last week... If it's not here by Wed next week I'll be demanding money back! It's been about a month...

Did the oil change today. Neither Repco or Supercheap had any of the Delvac stuff Matt recommended so I just got some Magnatec 10W40 which was recommended in the guide book...

Can anyone direct me towards one of those quick release sump plugs? Could come in handy now that I'll be doing these oil changes more frequently...

Morgan, just google fumoto and order on their website!

Good service, when I ordered mine and they didn't have it in stock they let me know, and also let me know when it was shipped as requested.

They make oil changes incredibly awesome!
