and its not an a360 but an a1246... which is plenty expense... about 48bucks...
all my logic in finding a washable/reusable one is to not have to spend those dollars every 5-10k kms...

because i really have no idea of what other brands are out there, and suitable for the afm and whatnot...Seriously. You're whinging about filter prices, whilst on the internet.

i thought forums were supposed to be a helpful place?? a safe zone... where you can ask any questions you want with out ridicule... almost feel like keeping quiet and just doing it myself sometimes...
i'm not opposed to buying things from the net, its more the what to get i dont comprehend... hence why i thought i would tap into the ocean of knowledge we have here....

all i am simply after is an alternative manufacturer...
i simply don't care where i get it from, and how much it costs ( within reason) if its a reusable filter...
i didnt think it was going to be this hard to get advice lol

AVOID THE REUSABLE AIRFILTERS!!
in case you missed that last point:
AVOID THE REUSABLE AIRFILTERS!!
Buy a paper air filter. They're all the same shit. The only gain you will get from spending anything more than the cheapest ones you can get is the size of the hole in your wallet.
THERE IS NO GAIN IN BUYING EXPENSIVE AIR FILTERS!!
If you must know my rationale: In my early days, I bought an expensive JDM big brand reusable air filter, and it was destroyed after six months of use. $130 down the toilet.
Now I use $10 screamers, and THERE WAS NO DIFFERENCE IN PERFORMANCE.
And I'd know, as turbocharged vehicles are more susceptible to gains and drops in performance, whereas, an NA, IT WILL MAKE NO DIFFERENCE.
frustrating much?!?!?
Jump on ebay. Buy a batch of five or so. Change them every 5k kms, if you're worried about dust/filtration/etc. Else, change them every 10k kms.
And live life happily ever after!
THE END!
