Opel

OK. So it's not quite as bad as a Holden.

But it still is not as good as what it could be.

Having said that though, peanuts to run and maintain. But such an unfulfilling car to drive. Like driving a washing machine. Does the job, but that's it.

what model Astra is it? F,G,H? I worked for Vauxhall in the UK for 2.5years and got to drive a lot of Astra's of all models. I actually didnt mind the G, the F was a bag of nuts, and the H just felt disconnected. The Vauxhall 888 Astra G coupe was by far my favourite.

but by far my most enjoyable driving experience whilst working for Vauxhall was in one of these. Lotus Elise chassis with C20LET power.

I miss having a keg at home. That was awesome. I think im going to have to sort out a keg setup as soon as I can produce decent homebrew.
Seeing your BBQ made me want a beer.

Yay back inside!!

Some one did something (unsure what) but they mixed chlorine with some other powdered chemical that started letting off a gas, one person in hospital and a few others sat in the ambulance for a while but ended up ok,, was about 5 fire trucks and 4 ambulances, cops barricaded the place off and blocked off Frederick street (main road out front of work) had to wait for the hazmat guys to get here and it took them until after 8 to get the place cleared up.

Unsure how the customer did it, may have been an accident but they freaked and took off.

Need beer.

Sublime - '03 TS Astra CD. 1.8L Auto, air, steer, ABS.

Astra G me thinks. Same model as you have pictured with the 888.

Headlights are cloudy. Shits me. Rear wheel bearings are noisy (alway have been, since we bought it with 13k km on the clock). Fuel surge when down to the last 1/4 tank.

Apart from that, not a bad little runabout.

Okay, I'm gunna keep it short and sweet. I have lost all faith in the nsw police, and possibly humanity.

So today, 5 of us were just chilling out the front of my mates house, waiting for more people to rock up before we went out. We were just chatting and pissing about on the huffy slider before we heard all this commotion, dogs barking and a woman screaming. We.all ran down to see what the hell went on. So basically, these new people had moved in , typical Aussie bogan commodore driver, with his 2 staffies. The dogs had escaped while nobody was home, had ran next door and attacked and KILLED their Posted Image'ing dog. The owner of the now dead dog was trying to protect it, and thr dog attacked her, (she ended up getting 12 or so stitches). Thr dogs then ran across the street, and grabbed another dog by the throat. The owner ended up kicking the staffy off, the dog was hurt but survived. By this time, when we arrived, there was 10 or so of us blokes there, and it took is a while go grab the dogs by the throat and lock them up behind the gates of the empty owners gate. The dogs were smashing into the fence and biting it trying to get out. I had my 15" adjustible spanner ready to bash this dogs head in if it attacked any of us.

After making sure the woman was alright, I called the cops. Explained the situation, and was told that a cop car had been sent out and would be here as soon as possible.
About an hour passed, no cops. The Hogan owner of the dogs turned up, sped up his driveway. We told him exactly what had happened, and respond with, and I shit you not; 'okay sorry about that". He quickly ran inside through the back door, was inside for about 5 minutes before he ran out and sped off again.

Another hour passed, so 2 hours later, and still no cops. We had made various calls to them in this 2 hours, and they said the car was on its way.

We first called the cops at 6.55, its now 11.07, and they still haven't turned up, not that were still here. We left after 2.5 hours, with my mates dad, and 2 other neighbours wiring for the coppers.

This isn't the first time this shit has happened either. My mate got physically assaulted and robbed on the street by a 30 something year old man, with many witnesses, called cops and they never showed.

Useless police, and a useless society.

Sucks Jords. Great way for the new neighbors to make a first impression... Hopefully they get what's coming to them.

I ha an epic night. Picasso exhibition was awesome. Then went out with Katie's boss and her bf and had BRAZA on Darling Harbour.

So good.

I'm now on a train back to Epping where I've left my car.

It smells like wee in here.
