What tyre size you guys recommend?

215/45/17 will be the most common

You could also get 225/45/17

I should paint them blek.

Is there a particular brand of tyre thats good in wet and dry on bitumen with an easy price for the back pocket? or just go with whatever?

Reading up on this Le Mans crash.

Hectic.

Levegh's 300 SLR struck the mound at such speed and angle that it was launched into a somersault, which caused some parts of the car, already damaged and loosened by the collision, to be flung from the vehicle at very great speeds. This included the bonnet and the front axle, both of which separated from the frame and flew through the crowd. The bonnet decapitated tightly jammed spectators like a guillotine

There are a few tyre threads floating around which you might find useful

I run Bridgestone Adrenalins RE001's and love them

Dad just bought a set of Pirelli P7's for his Rex and he is loving it. Some P7's in size 215/45/17 would probably be around $185 a corner at the moment.

I have found RE001 Potenza's to be really good bang for buck wise.

Can't really fault them and they're around 250 a corner.

Apparently 4 different camera angles captured it...

The flying debris is just terrifying...!

The crowd stands so close to the track... and officials are on the track at all times...

Would never see that today...

Those were different days, boys.

As for tyres i prefer Kumho KU31 to Bridgestone RE001s. Better dry and wet grip and cheaper too

I want good tyres for safety.

But wish they would go slippery with a push of a button for some skids. :D

Maybe I need a oil dripper system, or more power.
