Runs hot coolant through the TB to help the car warm up to operate the wax pellet for cold start fast idle speed control, then ECU takes over with the IAC.

Dylan, is that your willy in that photo?

Yep. It grows a nail, too.

see where they tee off the heater lines? Hose bolt clamp done.

Ohhhhh yah.

Car all back together. Looks like I need another power steering pump, this one has got a wicked wobble on it. Second one in as many months. Took it off, couldn't do jack shit so put it back on. Took radiator out to inspect it (Noticed water dripping below drivers side), looked OK, put back in and just as I'm topping up with water I can see it dripping again. Alloy radiator FAIL. So got to try and get that fixed - How can I build up pressure in the prick and find the leak ?? No visible marks ANYWHERE.

hey dylan, if you leave the car idling for ages while it heats up you should be able to see it coming out or spraying out under pressure

hows the turbro?

Yeah, thought about that. It just drips off the bottom radiator support, don't think I can get in there to see it.

Turbo? No idea mate. Took it for a drive last night, popped a hose off and had coolant issues so just came straight home after filling up. Felt good until the hose popped off haha. Spent today taking off intake manifold and chasing a pinhole in a rubber hose.

I do like the fact I can HEAR it now, being a BB turbo. Makes me widdle in my pants a liddle everytime.

just put your head down between the motor and radiator, the fans wont hurt :sarcastic:

have you got them stupid stock hose clamps on it??

they tend to cut into the hose, have a look at that first before you pressure test the rad

Uhh got different ones, inspected the bottom hose as well when I had the radiator out and couldn't find any issues, but to be honest was paying more attention to the rad itself. Plus the drops are coming from the drivers side, any leaking on the other side should drip out on that side..

My head is way too big to fit in that gap.

I think I might take it for a bit of a quick zap and see what I can see upon my return.

I've never had a rad pressure tested, know anyone ? Cheap / spenno exercise ?

It will be the core leaking most likely due to earthing issues.

I also have many many ps pumps. Hollaatmeboi
