Use a hammer and a chisel and chisel it out....... perhaps light a fire in that corner of your engine bay first to burn off any wires/hoses that connect to it.

I just found a PINHOLE in that hose from the crossover pipe to the throttle body.
To save me digging around and trying to find a replacement here, is there something I can do to block it off?

thats it. Ill need to have a look at your car but shouldnt be too hard to block off. Id prefer to rip it out but that will apparently cause you rapeage issues from the po po
Hey Iain. That metal under manifold hose that Alex had problems with is A-OK.

see where they tee off the heater lines? Hose bolt clamp done.
